Solar Eclipse! The library will provide the live video stream on Monday, August 21. We will begin at 1100 with the Eclipse Preview Show! Food and drinks are allowed so please join us for this exciting event!

Programming begins at 1100 CST with a preview show hosted from Charleston, South Carolina. The main show begins at 1200 CST and will cover the path of totality the eclipse will take across the United States, from Oregon to South Carolina. The program will feature views from NASA research aircraft, high-altitude balloons, satellites and specially-modified telescopes. It also will include live reports from Charleston, as well as from Salem, Oregon; Idaho Falls, Idaho; Beatrice, Nebraska; Jefferson City, Missouri; Carbondale, Illinois; Hopkinsville, Kentucky; and Clarksville, Tennessee.

The Eglin Library is open to all members of Team Eglin age 16 and over (children under 16 must be supervised by a parent/guardian). Located next door to Legends Sports Grill inside Building 825 near the Main Fitness Center, the library offers a place for not just airmen, but all military and civilian personnel to relax, read, study, and play.
